MASON RUSCH

FOUNDER & HEAD TRAINER

Mason is a former collegiate basketball player for Asbury University and currently resides in Clayton, North Carolina, where most of his skills training takes place. Mason is originally from Kentucky, where he was ranked one of the top guards in his class. He scored over 2,000 varsity career points by his junior year of high school, shattering the school’s scoring record. In addition to this, he won Conference Player of the Year in both his sophomore and junior years.
For his senior year, he and his family moved to Clayton, North Carolina where he would join the Clayton Comets. Mason came in and made an immediate impact, leading them to the Elite 8 of the state tournament. He concluded his senior year with a handful of college offers and committed to Asbury University in the spring of 2020.
Throughout his two years at Asbury, he faced significant injuries that ultimately ended his playing career. While his time in college didn’t pan out the way he thought it would, Mason is living proof that you don't have to be a certain size or have a certain degree of athletic ability to chase your dreams and play at a high level. Being fresh out of college, he brings a new perspective to basketball skills training, understanding exactly what it takes to develop your athlete.

Mason's life verse is Philippians 4:13"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
